Takaka/Abel Tasman National Park

This was one of the first place that I went to go first when I was in the northern parts of the south island. The small town of Takaka has an attractive ambiance that gives it character and personality. The town felt lively as I had arrived on a sunny weather with lots to do. The Abel Tasman National Park was recommended to me by a Canadian hitchhiker that I had picked up on my way towards Nelson. She was right about how hiking in Abel Tasman was well worth it because it is so vast and open that I got some great footage of the area.
